Information, not support

Guides are general information. Menus and features differ between software versions; keep a backup copy of important files before following any instructions.

No downloads or licences

openoffice.org.za does not distribute software, sell licences or provide technical support. Download software only from its official project or vendor website.

Archive pages

Pages from the 2004–2005 community website are kept for reference. Their listings, prices and contacts are historical and have been removed where they could mislead.

Partner stories and links

Partner stories are written by third parties and may be paid. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; their content and offers are the responsibility of their owners.

Privacy

The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics of its own. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the site is delivered through a content network that keeps standard technical logs.

Photographs and text

Photographs are used under the free licences named in their credits. Text may be quoted briefly with a link to the source page.
