Archive page. In 2004 and 2005 this address was the website of the OpenOffice.org Southern Africa community. The page is kept for reference and describes that period, not current software. Forms, e-mail addresses and phone numbers have been removed. openoffice.org.za is now an independent publication and is not the OpenOffice project.

Mailing lists have been found to be the easiest, most efficient and reliable form of support service the OpenOffice.org community can offer.

International Mailing Lists

For the vast majority of people around the world, the support provided by the international users mailing list is excellent. The down side of this list is that the volume of messages consistently exceeding 550 messages a week.

If you wish to subscribe to this list, please read the usage guidelines before subscribing to the forum. Archives are also available to search or browse.

Southern African Mailing Lists

The Southern African Marketing Project has also set up a list for the provision of user support and for general OpenOffice.org related discussion. The usage guidelines are the same as those used by the international OpenOffice.org community.
